Someone I read and respect

yet another blogging parent...whom I started reading. While we don't always see eye to eye, he, like me, tells it truthfully and to the point. No B.S.

  1. I agree that he speaks his truth as do you. I speak my truth, which is as powerful based on my experiences as yours is for you. Not every parent of an addict can get to this point; and if they do, they have to travel their own path to get there, just like their addict does.

I don't know how I feel when I read his blog, to be honest. I recognize the truth, but I guess I am not as enlightened as some.

Our personal truths are the things we've learned along our addiction journey.

But none of our personal truths negate the ultimate truth about addition:

I didn't cause it, I cannot cure it, and I cannot control it.

  3. I think he has a lot to share, and makes some really good points. I am not sure how to say what I'm thinking, but I wish he could do his sharing more kindly? Ugh...I can't find the words! Anyway, thanks for sharing the link to his blog!

    hugs and prayers!
